Panther Immersion Programs 2025 Cohorts
The Panther Immersion Programs offer Georgia State University undergraduate and graduates students immersive and experiential opportunities that accelerate their professional development and have the potential to transform their careers. These programs are cohort-based and provide a unique blend of professional development, networking, and practical experiences in five major cities, each with a specific industry focus. As part of their training and development, students can expect expert-led workshops, team building exercises, resume building guidance, online brand development, and professional meeting etiquette
Students will only be considered for one of the following cohorts:
Panthers in Charlotte
- Focus: Banking and fintech
- Ideal Candidates: Students in finance, data science, economics, risk management, machine learning, information systems, data engineering, information security
Panthers in Chicago
- Focus: Commercial real estate
- Ideal Candidates: Students in business administration, accounting, finance, management, marketing, real estate, risk science
Panthers in the District (Washington, D.C.)
- Focus: Public policy and administration, non-profits, taxation, and private sector in government
- Ideal Candidates: Students in public policy, public administration, criminal justice, economics, social work, urban studies, accounting
Panthers in the Valley (Silicon Valley - San Francisco)
- Focus: Technology and start-ups
- Ideal Candidates: Students in computer information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, data analytics, fintech, game design, marketing, managerial science
Panthers on Wall Street (New York City)
- Focus: Financial and capital markets
- Ideal Candidates: Students in finance, accounting, business economics, risk science
Base Requirements
- Applicants must be currently enrolled Georgia State University students graduating December 2025 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is required.
- A 1-page high-quality, well-developed resume is required as part of the application.
The cost as a cohort member is $500 and it covers airfare, hotel, transportation within the city, and most meals. The payments are usually split in 2 over the course of 3 months.
Applications open September 1, 2024 and close on January 12, 2024. Recruiting takes place in spring of 2025 and travel is in fall of 2025. Specific dates will be disclosed at a later time.
